Jesus in the flesh

“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.” Hebrews 1:1,2

“In the beginning was the Word, and Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1,14

Sebin is 17 months old now. Even in this short period of time, My family and I were separated about two times. Once was when Hyemi and Sebin went to Korea to visit relatives. Hyemi’s side of the family hadn’t seen Sebin yet so they visited Korea for about a month and a half. The second time they were gone was just a few months ago when my brother and his wife gave birth to their baby. Hyemi went to help out for about three weeks.

Oh I really missed Sebin and Hyemi. Almost everyday we were on face time whenever they were available. I got to see them every day but that was not enough. People say that technology is awesome today that we get to see them on face time now. But you know that is not enough. I wish that I got see them in person and hold them and just be together. So on the day they returned I got so excited and started cleaning up the house and be prepared for their homecoming. Finally, I went to the airport and when I saw my family coming out to the arrival terminal I rushed to them and greeted them. Oh how awesome that is. You know what I mean. You’ve all had that experience before.

That is why Jesus came to us. That is what the verses above are saying about how much God wanted to be with us that Jesus came down here to be with us in person. Now we wait for Him again for His second coming. But now we know how much He misses us and how much we miss Him!
